AGING WILD

PHYSICIAN-LED · FIELD-TESTED · BUILT FOR HARD COUNTRY

Stay capable
for the long haul.

Aging Wild helps hunters and anglers remain capable for the places they go and the trips that matter—from ordinary seasons close to home to remote, complex, once-in-a-lifetime expeditions.

01 · THE MISSION

Health is not the end goal. Capacity is.

The goal is not to stay young. It is to remain capable of answering the call—to the hunts, people, responsibilities, and wild places that matter.

The mountain does not care what your wearable says, what you used to lift, or how healthy you look on paper. It asks whether you can climb, carry, think, adapt, recover, and return tomorrow.

THE AGING WILD FRAMEWORK

Four capacities. One longer huntspan.

01 — Metabolic Health

Reduce the quiet risks—cardiovascular disease, insulin resistance, excess weight—that shorten life and limit the field.

02 — Durability

Build strength, tissue capacity, balance, and an aerobic engine that can absorb work without breaking down.

03 — Recovery

Sleep, fuel, adapt, and return. Recovery is what makes the next hard day possible.

04 — Field Readiness

Match your medical preparation, skills, equipment, and decisions to the specific country and objective.

A FIELD DEFINITION OF LONGEVITY

What is huntspan?

Lifespan is how long you live. Healthspan is how long you remain functional. Huntspan is how long you can still climb, carry, recover, think clearly under fatigue, and undertake the hunts that matter to you.

THE FIELD JOURNAL

Think clearly. Prepare honestly.

What hard country actually asks of you

Useful performance as altitude, weather, load, fatigue, poor sleep, and repeated days accumulate.

Your lab work is part of your field kit

A field-minded guide to the quiet risks that shorten huntspan.

A first-aid kit is not a plan

What competent preparation looks like when the trailhead is hours away.

A NOTE FROM THE FOUNDER

Medicine should help you live a bigger life—not merely avoid a shorter one.

Aging Wild exists to preserve enough health, strength, judgment, and usefulness to keep saying yes to meaningful work, wild places, and the people who depend on you.
